circa 1840 Rare Navarino Roses Yellow & Brown Two Color Transferware Plate Vintage Jewelry I have a small collectionAfter 1828, technology allowed potters to produce two and three color transfer wares. This truly stunning example dates between 1830 40 and is possibly by Ridgway. This is a very rare find in the Navarino pattern. It has an intricate yellow background with a gorgeous brown transfer of roses. Yellow is the very rarest color of transferware. Truly an exquisite piece even for the most selective of collectors.
