This tool is traditionally known as trammel points. The compass heads can clamp materials ranging from 5 8" to 3 4" in thickness. A secured pin on each clamping knob firmly keeps each head in place on the beam. Contents includes two hardened steel points, along with pencil, brass, and aluminum heads.
