Withstands 2000 volts per UL498. Body is thermoplastic nylon, the strap and terminal clamps are nickel plated steel. The contacts are a brass alloy. UL Listed to UL498, UL Certified to CSA C22. 2, no. 42, UL verified to Fed. Spec. WC 596G, and NOM ANSI Certified. Meets UL 94 flammability
